Ponytail palm or elephant's foot is a slow growing evergreen plant that is easy to take care of. The ponytail palm grows in Mexico where it can grow several meters tall. The tree is branchless and has a swollen part on the base of the trunk where it stores water. The palm's leaves are shaped like long swords and curly like hair-locks and are clustered at the top of the trunk. The natural habitat of the palm is very rocky and dry with limited nutrients. The area have a 7-8 month long dry season.

The plant can withstand direct sunshine as well as half shade. Water well and let it properly dry before next watering, give less water during winter. The plant is not poisonous.

The decoration pot is not included in the price. The plant is 40cm tall and the pot is 13cm.
