Phlebodium aureum 'Davana'
Golden polypody also goes by the common names blue star fern and hare-foot fern and has gotten it's name from the golden brown creeping rhizome. The fronds of the plant are beautiful blue green in colour. The Davana variety differs from the Blue star variety in that it has very ruffled and scalloped fronds. The golden polypody is natively from tropical south and Central America and is an easy green plant to take care of. The plant thrive in a bright location without sunshine but it can cope in a location with little light as well. Keep the plant moist and mist the leaves with water regularly. The plant is not toxic.
