22-year-old violinist Martin Granström studies violin with leading Finnish violinist and pedagogue Tero Latvala at bachelors level in Turku Arts Academy with violin pedagogy as second subject. Previously he studied with Janne Malmivaara. Martin has played masterclasses with Ani Kavafian, Olivier Pons, Ester Haffner and Jan Söderblom to name a few. Important chamber music mentors are Erkki Lahesmaa, Folke Gräsbeck, Adrian Brendel and Jan Bjøranger. Martin has performed in many music festivals in Finland, Sweden, Italy and France. His latest success came in Juhani Heinonen Violin Competition 2019 where he was one of the finalist, playing with Jyväskylä Symphony Orchestra.
Samuel Eriksson studies piano and clarinet playing at Turku Conservatory with Niklas Pokki and Outi Heiskanen as his teachers. He also studies at The Youth Piano Academy. Eriksson has gotten several awards in piano competitions, the most important competitions are: The Steinway piano competition in the series for 15 -17 years old held in Helsinki in 2018 and The Nordic Piano Competition held in Sweden in Arvika in 2019. Samuel Eriksson also represented Finland in Hamburg at the 18thInternational Steinway Festival.
